TTB Announces Final Step in Revisions to Label Approval Form
The Department of Treasury has submitted the revised information collection requirements for TTB Form 5100.31 (Certificate of Label Approval, or COLA) to OMB for review and clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13. Notice No. 126, Standards of Identity for Pisco and Cognac
Notice No. 126 proposes to include "Pisco" in the distilled spirits standards of identity regulations as a type of brandy that must be manufactured under the laws and regulations of either Peru or Chile. This document also includes a technical correction removing "Cognac" from the same regulations. T.D. TTB–101, Labeling Imported Wine with Multistate Appellations.
