New Guidelines Posted in Drawback Tutorial
New guidelines for anise oil, fennel oil, triacetin, washed extracts of essential oils, and 2 percent by weight total flavor chemicals are now included in the “What Makes a Product Unfit?” section of the Drawback Tutorial. The calculations worksheets based on the guidelines have also been updated. (10/30/09)
Chemist Certification Reminder
The deadline for submission of application packages and samples for chemist certification is October 31, 2009. Mail applications and samples to the National Laboratory Center, Beverage Alcohol Laboratory, 6000 Ammendale Road, Beltsville, MD 20705. E-mail all certification questions to the laboratory at sherrie.high@ttb.gov.
