  • Repeal of Special (Occupational) Tax on Alcohol Occupations
    Section 11125 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act permanently repeals, effective July 1, 2008, the special (occupational) taxes on certain businesses in the alcohol industry.  Read more.  (06/06/08)
  • TTB Provides Guidance on the Repeal of Special (Occupational) Tax on Alcohol Occupations
    President Bush signed into law the “Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users,” Public Law 109-59.  Section 11125 of that act permanently repeals the special (occupational) taxes on some alcohol occupation.  Read more.  (01/23/08)

  • California Wildfire Disaster Claims

  • Introducing New Excise Tax Remittance Procedures
    TTB has changed the address for remitting Excise Tax Return payments, and will now convert check payments to Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).  Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax payers click here.  Alcohol and Tobacco Excise Tax payers click here. (09/10/07)
