Proprietors of distilled spirits plants, and others concerned:

Purpose. The purpose of this circular is to inform you of the January 1963 revision of Form 2733, Monthly Report of Bottling Premises Operations.

Background. There appear to be diverse opinions among industry members as to the classification and reporting of imported spirits in columns (e) and (f) of Section III, Summary by Kinds, Form 2733 (7-60). Consequently, we have revised the form in an effort to clear up the reporting difficulties.

Principal changes.

1. Column (f) of the old form has been deleted and columns (g) and (h) have been redesignated as (f) and (g).

2. The heading in column (e) has been revised to more clearly state the information to be reported in the column. All imported products that are dumped in this country for bottling without rectification will be reported in this column. Imported products dumped for rectification in this country will be reported in column (b).

Distribution and use of form. Your Assistant Regional Commissioner will furnish you an initial supply of the revised forms as soon as they are received from the printer. Please use the January 1963 revision of the form as soon as you receive it and destroy all unused Forms 2733 bearing earlier revision dates.

Inquiries. Inquiries concerning this circular should refer to its number and be addressed to your Assistant Regional Commissioner, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax.
