EXTENSION OF TIME FOR SUBMITTING COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS REGARDING FAA PROPOSALS

Proprietors of Distilled Spirits Plants, Importers and Wholesalers of Distilled Spirits, and others concerned:

This circular is issued to inform you that the date for submitting comments and suggestions on the proposals for changes in the regulations issued pursuant to the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, as set forth in 27 CFR, Part 5, Labeling and Advertising of Distilled Spirits (contained in Industry Circular No. 66-9, dated May 25, 1966) has been moved forward from September 30, 1966 to November 30, 1966.

Since the proposals are massive in scope and far reaching in effect, the extension in time is granted in order that all interested parties will be provided an opportunity for a complete and coordinated evaluation of the suggested program.

Inquiries regarding this circular should refer to its number and should be addressed to the Director, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax Division (Attention: CP:AT:JHL), Washington, D. C. 20224.
