NEW CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN AND IDENTITY FOR FRENCH DISTILLED SPIRITS AND WINES

Importers and others concerned:

Purpose: The purpose of this Circular is to inform importers of French distilled spirits and wines that new certificates of origin and identity (Acquits-A-Caution Forms) are now being issued by the Direction Generale Des Impots for French distilled spirits and wines shipped from foreign ports.

Background: Refer to Industry Circular Nos. 58-35 issued December 29, 1958, and 59-5 issued January 30, 1959.
