Mission

The Office of Communications is the principal TTB contact for internal and external communication activities and programs such as plain language, open government, and Web content management, which includes TTB's Web Quality Assurance Program. Additionally, the Office of Communications connects people to resources by building awareness of the TTB tools, services, and systems available to our internal and external customers to encourage more efficient internal business practices and promote industry compliance.

What We Do

  • Facilitate the sharing and using of information and knowledge to guide regulated industries and TTB operations.
  • Develop and implement knowledge management systems, applications, and techniques in supporting a knowledge-sharing organization.
  • Create, manage, and optimize the content and services of the TTB public and internal websites.
  • Establish TTB's plain language guidelines and principles.
