TTB Trade Practices

Sections 105(a) through (d) of the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA Act) (27 U.S.C. 205(a)–(d)) prohibit certain marketing practices that are deemed to cause unfair competition.  These sections, titled "Exclusive outlet," "Tied house," "Commercial bribery," and "Consignment sales," respectively, delineate and proscribe unfair trade practices in the alcohol beverage industry.

2019 TTB Trade Practice Seminars (April – August)

Trade practice seminars are intended to help educate industry on the basic tenets of trade practice laws and regulations.  To register, click on the appropriate link below and follow the instructions on the registration page.
