IN THIS ISSUE

Greetings! This week’s top news includes the publication of our “TTB Bootcamp for Brewers” presentation given at the Craft Brewers Conference, information about which file types are compatible with Permits Online, and a TTB auditor job announcement.

TTB BOOTCAMP FOR BREWERS EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATION POSTED ON TTB.GOV

We recently added the educational presentation we used for the TTB Bootcamp for Brewers during the Craft Brewers Conference held in Denver, Colorado earlier this month.

TTB participates in industry conferences and seminars to provide training or relevant TTB information. We also hold our own training events, such as webinars or seminars. We share our presentations on our TTB Presentations page for everyone’s benefit.

Bookmark the TTB Presentations page and use it as a resource when you’ve got questions about TTB requirements on a variety of topics.

FILE TYPES THAT MAY BE UPLOADED IN PERMITS ONLINE

Recently, some Permits Online users encountered security blocks when they tried to upload files in support of their original or amended application for a TTB permit, registration, or notice.  Earlier this week we implemented a broad solution that resolved the problem for the most common file types.

In order to avoid technical difficulties when uploading documents in Permits Online, please limit file types to the following:

  • DOC
  • DOCX
  • JPG
  • PDF
  • PNG
  • TIFF
  • XLS
  • XLSX

With this fix users are able to upload those document types without the security blocks that some users were experiencing.
