IN THIS ISSUE

Greetings! This week’s top news includes hints for speeding up your formula approval times, and notification of upcoming Permits Online maintenance.

WANT TO AVOID GETTING YOUR FORMULA SENT BACK FOR CORRECTION?

One of the most common problems we see on wine, spirits, and beer formula applications is that the applicant did not supply adequate information about one or more of the ingredients listed in the formula.  Most commonly, we are looking for an ingredient specification sheet, which is required for ingredients (excluding compounded flavors) comprised of multiple ingredients.

An ingredient specification sheet or spec sheet, is a document (or copy of a product label) that lists or describes the contents of an ingredient used to make your alcohol beverage.

Learn more about spec sheets and the other common types of supporting documents we need for certain ingredients:

Save yourself time by learning in advance about the information we need to evaluate your formula.

PERMITS ONLINE MAINTENANCE

We’re performing system maintenance on Permits Online that requires that we extend by one hour the regular morning outage on the next few Thursdays.

Permits Online will not be available during the outages.

December 12 – Outage from 4 – 7 a.m.

December 19 – Outage from 4 – 7 a.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
