IN THIS ISSUE Greetings! This week we’re highlighting information about how to access lists of TTB Basic Permit holders, the top five search terms people used on TTB.gov last month, and a system outage alert for next week. LISTS OF TTB INDUSTRY MEMBERSDid you know you can access current lists of most TTB industry members on our website? Every week we publish updated lists of alcohol industry members who hold TTB Basic Permits under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA Act). The lists cover:
Some TTB industry members, including breweries, industrial alcohol producers, and tobacco companies, do not get a Basic Permit under the FAA Act; instead they qualify to operate under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). The IRC protects taxpayers records from public disclosure, so we are not able to provide lists for those industry members. However, we do publish quarterly updates to a list of the total number of breweries by state, and that report is available on the same webpage.
