IN THIS ISSUE Greetings! This week we’re providing a reminder and some tips for alcohol industry members eligible for annual filing. ANNUAL FILERS: 2020 TAX RETURNS/PAYMENTS/OPERATIONAL REPORTS ARE DUE SOONThe due dates for annual filers are fast approaching! If you are an alcohol industry member eligible to file annual excise tax returns, the due date for filing your 2020 return and paying taxes due is January 14, 2021. If you are a Bonded Winery or Bonded Wine Cellar eligible to file an annual operational report, the due date for filing your 2020 report is January 15, 2021. Tips:
Financial Hardship If you are unable to pay your taxes, you may be eligible for an installment agreement, an extension of time to pay, or an offer in compromise. To minimize penalties and interest, file all required excise tax returns, even if you cannot pay the full amount due. Contact TTB if you would like to discuss your financial hardship. |
