IN THIS ISSUE Greetings! This week we’re announcing Gracie Joy’s selection as the Director of ALFD, the most recent CiderCon presentations now available at TTB.gov, and a job opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. GRACIE JOY SELECTED TO HEAD ALFDWe are pleased to announce that Gracie Joy has been selected as the new Director of the Alcohol Labeling and Formulation Division (ALFD). Ms. Joy has been part of the TTB leadership team since 2006, serving most recently as the Deputy Director, ALFD. Ms. Joy was a 2019 recipient of the prestigious Gears of Government Award, for her outstanding achievements in employing process and technology changes to improve TTB’s labeling program to bring turnaround times for label and formula approvals down to less than 10 days in fiscal year 2017, as well as achieving the FY 2018 service standard of 15 days, despite unprecedented increases in submissions. She has played a central role in sustaining these service improvements over time. CIDERCON PRESENTATIONS NOW AVAILABLELast week, TTB presented four compliance seminars to the cider industry at their annual conference, which was held virtually this year. We’ve posted the slides on our presentations resource page and we encourage anyone from the cider industry to download and use them as reference material when you have questions about these topics.
