IN THIS ISSUE Greetings! This week we’re highlighting our Anatomy of a Wine Label interactive tool, and announcing a recent change to COLAs Online and a TTB job opening.
If you are new to the wine industry, or just curious about TTB wine label requirements, check out our interactive Anatomy of a Wine Label tool. Move your mouse over the label and click on any element to see TTB rules for that information, plus view COLA requirements and helpful tips for creating a wine label. You can access additional in-depth wine labeling information on the Wine Labeling Home Page, as well as view the handy Mandatory Information Checklist. These guidance pages are designed to help you move through the TTB label approval process with fewer bumps and delays. COLAs ONLINE UPDATE: NO MORE POP-UP WINDOWIn response to user feedback regarding the pop-up window that appears in step 3 when you are uploading your labels, we’ve moved it to the right of the screen, and, if you like, you may close it out to maximize screen space while you upload your label image files. While the information in that box is important and can save you from submitting labels with errors, you will no longer have to close it out with each label upload making navigation a little easier. We are committed to learning and listening to you in order to make system and process improvements that make things easier for you when you interact with TTB. TTB CAREER OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for candidates to fill the top position in the Application Services Division of the Office of Permitting and Taxation, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Among other things, this position oversees all aspects of our alcohol and tobacco industry permitting process. For more details, view the vacancy announcement: 21-TTB-46-P
