This week we’re highlighting the publication of the Spring 2021 Unified Agenda, some new outreach activities where you can learn from TTB, a meeting of the National Organics Standards Board, and a TTB job posting for a statistician. SEMIANNUAL UNIFIED REGULATORY AGENDA NOW AVAILABLEAre you interested in what regulatory projects we have planned? Each spring and fall, the federal government compiles and releases the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, which outlines the planned regulatory actions of all federal entities that currently have regulations under development or review. The Spring 2021 edition of the Unified Agenda is now available at Reginfo.gov. To view information for the Department of the Treasury, including information on all planned TTB regulatory and deregulatory actions, select Department of the Treasury in the drop-down menu for the Select Agency search box at the bottom of that page. UPCOMING OUTREACH ACTIVITIESWe’ve added a few new events to our Outreach page. TTB will be participating in two upcoming virtual events: We’ll be participating in The Legal Side of Your Business session, providing an overview of how TTB regulates the craft alcohol beverage industry and what the most common TTB touchpoints are for breweries, wineries, and distilleries. We’ll present a breakout session after the keynote address where we’ll provide the latest news from TTB about our 2021 priorities, CBMA, and current rulemaking projects. MEETING OF THE NATIONAL ORGANIC STANDARDS BOARDTTB regulations provide that organic claims appearing on alcohol beverage labels and in advertisements must comply with the requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA’s) National Organic Program (NOP) regulations at 7 CFR part 205, as interpreted by the USDA.
