Section 207(f)(2) of the E-Government Act of 2002 requires federal agencies to develop an inventory of information to be published on their websites, establish a schedule for publishing information, make those schedules available for public comment, and post the schedules and priorities on the website. In preparing this inventory, we identified our audience and the type of information they want through website data; search requests; feedback from customer service inquiries, Web survey, and Freedom of Information Act requests; and reports and recommendations from usability studies and various internal working groups.
In addition to the information listed above, we identified information that, as a regulatory agency, we are required by law or official directive to make available, plus other information which dissemination is crucial to ensure public safety, national security or the implementation of our mission-critical operations. In developing the inventory we also assumed that if any of our information was of interest to the general public, and there were no national security, law enforcement, legal or privacy issues that prohibit its publication (see FOIA exemptions), then that information should be posted and listed on the inventory.
Web Publication Schedules
TTB’s Web managers work with program offices to ensure that we post as much information as needed on our website. In addition we use Web analytics tools, user feedback, and customer service inquiries to routinely evaluate the site to ensure we are addressing the needs of our public and the industry members we serve. Based on that evaluation, we intend to publish the information listed in the schedule below.
If new information becomes available at TTB that is important to the public, we are committed to putting it on our website. If you have suggestions for additional information we should have on TTB’s main website (www.ttb.gov) please let us know.

- Priority 2: mission-critical and essential for program operations, but not required by law, regulation, or Presidential directive (that is, information or services that are directly tied to an agency's mission and/or strategic plan)
- Priority 3: frequently requested information or services that would improve business processes and/or customer service to the public (for example, most commonly used forms, documents, applications, transactions, etc.).
