Overview of the Amended Application Process

This chart will help you prepare to file an application to amend a TTB permit, registration, or notice.

Select the links in the boxes to view detailed information about each step in the process.

You may file multiple amendments at one time, and if you hold multiple permits, registrations, or notices and you are making changes to your business entity, such as owners, trade names, or powers of attorney, you only need to file one application. When the amendment is approved the changes will be reflected on all the permits, registrations, and notices under that EIN.

1. Getting Ready
	Ensure you have  authority to submit the application		If necessary, request  to have records for applications filed by a colleague linked  to your account		Choose which records  to amend		Determine if  additional Personnel  Questionnaires  are needed and how they'll be submitted		Preview the  application(s)
2. Apply and Submit Using Permits Online
	Log in and "Amend approved permit, registration, or notice"		Complete the  Amendment Wizard		Complete each  application in your  application package		Submit the  application package
3. After Filing
	Check the status of your application		If notified, correct application errors and omissions		When notified,  view/print your approval documents		Maintain regulatory compliance
